If Lashley is successful in earning a spot in the World Heavyweight Championship contest on May 27, he may finally get his chance.

World Wrestling Entertainment star Seth Rollins is set to face an unknown opponent at the Night of Champions on 27th May in Saudi Arabia. Notably, Rollins made it to the finals by winning the triple threat match and beating Finn Balor in Raw Last night. Meanwhile, Triple H just unveiled a few days ago the new World Heavyweight Championship and stated that a champion will be crowned at the forthcoming premium live event.

The Visionary must now await the announcement of his opponent for the World Heavyweight Championship fight at Night of Champions. On SmackDown, Bobby Lashley, United States Champion Austin Theory, Edge, Sheamus, AJ Styles, and Rey Mysterio will compete for a spot in the contest. Austin Theory and Bobby Lashley have a long history with Seth.

Last year, Rollins won the US Championship from Bobby Lashley when Brock Lesnar savagely attacked The All Mighty. Rollins was a heel at the time, and he questioned Lashley’s pride to convince him to agree to the title bout. Lashley will now have a chance to take revenge on Rollins after winning the match at the Smackdown.

Will Lashley get his revenge?

Many fans are rooting for Seth to win the World Heavyweight Championship in the coming weeks because it has been a while since he has held a significant championship in the business. If Bobby Lashley is successful in getting into the title contest, he might bring Rollins’ momentum to a halt. Notably, Rollins has been phenomenal in the last few weeks and the latest premium live event The Visionary pinned out Omos. Later he continued his dominance in the Monday night Raw as he beat Finn Balor to earn his spot in the much-awaited game.

If Lashley is successful in earning a spot in the World Heavyweight Championship contest on May 27, he may finally get his chance. The 46-year-old would not only receive the significant victory he so well deserves, but he would also exact revenge on Seth Rollins for previously robbing him of the United States Championship.
