Triple H announced the World Heavyweight Championship on WWE as he was present there to talk about the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who is coming up on 1000 days as champion in WWE. Meanwhile, the Chief Content Officer of WWE, Hunter said that Roman has defended the championship against everybody and he can’t name many in the last 30 years that can take on Roman Reigns because he is too good.
Hunter also mentioned that how Reigns has been able to negotiate himself and get into a position where he didn’t have to frequently defend that championship. Meanwhile, WWE Triple H said that the fans deserve more and the fans need more than that.
This Friday on the April 28th edition of Smackdown, the WWE Draft will begin on April 28th during Smackdown which will conclude on next on May 1st edition. Hunter said that the WWE Draft will change WWE at its very core.
Notably, Triple H previously announced that whenever Roman Reigns gets drafted to any show he goes to, he will take the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship with him and he will stay there. While the other brand will decide on a new champion. However, it was not specified whether Reigns will still be carrying the WWE & Universal Titles or will take those titles to whatever show he is on.
WWE to get a new Heavyweight Champions soon
As already announced by Triple H WWE will get a new World Heavyweight Champion on May 27th at Night of Champions. That’s when Triple H pulled the cover off a championship belt that was in the ring with a WWE logo on it and it had a World logo as well.
Triple H said it will be a champion to be proud of, a champion to respect and admire. That champion who can defend his title anywhere, all over the world. He also mentioned that this H that this champion will not need any acknowledgment from the fans as he will earn your acknowledgment and earn the title of World Heavyweight Champion.
