Asuka, the current WWE RAW Women’s Champion, received a warning from previous champion Bianca Belair after a brawl between the two women on the most recent SmackDown programme.
Asuka received an invitation to The Grayson Waller Effect show on the most recent SmackDown episode. On July 1, the former NXT standout questioned the champion about what would happen if a new Money in the Bank title emerged. IYO SKY, Bayley, Shotzi, Lacey Evans, and Zelina Vega were among the many female superstars who descended upon the ring to stake a claim on The Empress of Tomorrow’s title and compete for the Money in the Bank briefcase.
‘I let Asuka play in my face for way too long’ – Bianca Belair
Asuka returned to the ramp after the match and said that no one was prepared to challenge her for the championship when Bianca Belair unexpectedly attacked her. WWE officials had to break up the fight in order to separate the two women.
The RAW Women’s Champion received a message from The EST of WWE after SmackDown, telling her that she had allowed the champion to play in her face for too long. Belair stated that she wouldn’t flee after losing. “I let Asuka play in my face for way too long, and now she about to mess around and find out. WIN or LOSE I’m still the EST! I don’t run away in defeat. Now let me show you how it’s done,” Belair wrote. It is unknown how far Bianca Belair will go to reclaim her championship from the reigning champion.
This week on SmackDown, Asuka engaged in an intriguing conversation with a different WWE celebrity. The Empress of Tomorrow spoke about winning the RAW Women’s Championship at Night of Champions 2023 during an appearance on The Grayson Waller Effect. IYO SKY stopped the 41-year-old celebrity, and the two got into a verbal duel in Japanese.
“Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Miss Asuka! You sure are getting way too cocky! I win at Money in the Bank, I will challenge for that title. IYO SKY will become the NEW CHAMPION. So best regards!” IYO SKY told Asuka in the ring.
