RCB Full List Of Players For RCB on SKyExch

The auction of the WPL 2024 has come to an end. The teams finished the session by buying the players they felt were necessary to be brought. RCB has some exciting young talents, experienced campaigners from India, and other teams worldwide. From the auction, RCB got some of the experienced campaigners at the highest level, with some budding players.

In the WPL 2023, RCB did not have a great season despite having a star-studded lineup at the start of the season. It was led by the Indian star player Smriti Mandhana. They had some terrific players in the season like Sophie Devine, Renuka Singh, Ellyse Perry, Richa Ghosh, and Megan Schutt. Despite that, they ended up with a poor performance in the season. They could not live up to their expectations.

RCB lost the first five matches of the tournament and seemed rather clueless. In their last two matches, RCB won and ended the tournament well. Ahead of the WPL 2024 auction, RCB released 7 players and retained 11 players. RCB released the likes of Megan Schutt, Preeti Bose, Komal Zanzad, Sahana Pawar, Erin Burns, Dane Van Niekerk, and Poonam Khemnar.

RCB retained the likes of Smriti Mandhana (C), Shreyanka Patil, Renuka Singh, Sophie Devine, Disha Kasat, Asha Shobana, Heather Knight, Ellyse Perry, Kanika Ahuja, Indrani Roy, and Richa Ghosh. In the auction, RCB brought 7 players from their purse of INR 3.35 crores. The biggest of those names were Kate Cross, Sophie Molineux, and Georgia Wareham. Interestingly, RCB got all the overseas players at their base price for a sum of INR 30 lakhs.

Their costliest player from the auction was the former Indian cricketer Ekta Bisht, who went for INR 60 lakhs. S Meghana and Simran Bahaddur were brought by RCB for INR 30 lakhs each. RCB got Shubha Satheesh for a price of INR 10 lakhs. None of their players went above INR 60 lakhs. RCB seemed to have come up with a good strategy to try and buy players at cheap prices.
