Who all will Team India play in 2024 : Teams, Schedule, Venues etc

Team India will play just 3 ODIs as per the current schedule in the upcoming 12 months.

Team India

The last major global championship that India has won is ten years old. Rohit Sharma’s squad reached the finals ODI World Cup at home. Then, they had become the favourites to take home the significant prize. However, in the Ahmedabad final against the reigning champions, Australia, all of their strategies went wrong.

With a nearly flawless and dominant team and home match, it was by all measures India’s best opportunity to capture a World Cup. Today’s cricket calendar is such that a global event occurs almost annually. This includes the World Test Championship, Champions Trophy, T20 World Cup, or 50-over World Cup.

Teams from the US and Caribbean will compete to win the major T20 tournament in 2024. There will be a new format for the competition. Twenty teams, split into four groups of five, will compete in the event for the first time.

In the Super Eight stage, the top two sides from each group advance and are divided into two groups of four. After that, the top two finishers from each group advance to the semi-finals and final.

Some of the greatest players in Indian cricket may decide to call it quits this year. This is because Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are expected to make decisions on their futures at least in T20Is.
