India has been phenomenal throughout the ongoing Test against West Indies in Dominica. The Indian team outplayed the hosts with both bat and ball and is now comfortably leading the situation. At the end of Day 2, India scored 312/2 in the first innings which has given the visitors a commanding lead of 162 runs. Debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli hammered West Indies in the third session of Day 2 and remained unbeaten.

Meanwhile, Kohli played an unusual innings as he just relied on singles and doubles and went through a long spell without hitting a boundary. He smashed his first boundary after playing 81 balls and celebrated it with a punch to the air. The Indian batting star smashed the ball through the covers, leaving fielders with little opportunity to stop it, and what occurred next made everyone laugh.

After striking his first boundary of the innings, the celebrations from the 34-year-old showed how much it meant to him and how the pitch demanded of him to toil hard. Seeing Kohli celebrate a boundary in such a manner made on-air commentator Ian Bishop giggle. His video soon went viral on social media as fans were delighted to see his amusement.

He also passed James Anderson in the list of bowlers with the most fifers.

Meanwhile, earlier on Day 2, India skipper Rohit Sharma completed 3,500 Test runs. He also scored his second hundred away from home and 10th in Tests overall. Apart from them, Jaiswal also broke several records by hitting a century in his debut game. In the end, the cherry on top was Kohli’s milestone.
