Virat Kohli shows off his ripped back in his recent workout video on Instagram

Virat Kohli, the Indian batter, ended his campaign with team India as the highest run-getter for the team and the entire tournament as he gathered 296 runs at a mind-boggling average of 98.66. The right-handed batter proved his prowess and eventually went on to play a heroic inning against Pakistan, with his unbeaten 82 that eventually helped India to chase down the target of 160 in the campaign opener.

Although India crashed out of the showpiece event in the knockouts against England, Kohli, who put on a sole fight on the day, eventually managed to score 50 runs against a fiery Three Lions pace attack. However, the Indian superstar will be back in action for the Bangladesh tour set to get underway on December 4 and Kohli is all set to take part in the ODI series and in Tests as well.

Ahead of the series, Kohli, known for his fitness, eventually posted a video of his gym session on his Instagram account and the fans, who shared the same on social media, went crazy over the same, claiming that the Indian batter has been increasing the bar with every passing day.

Suryakumar Yadav out of squad for ODI series

As things stand, India’s trusted middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav was rested for the ODI series against Bangladesh and the Indian fans left no stone unturned to slam the Indian cricket board for excluding the talented batter from the series.

While it is a known fact that the prolific batter rules the shortest format of the game, Suryakumar averages around 34 in the ODI format and has been faring out well. To add more, the batter has gathered 1164 runs in the shortest format this year and at a whopping strike rate of over 180, making him one of the best players in the format.

It remains to be seen if the batter could get snubbed in the future as well, although it is highly unlikely, given that he could take the game away from the opponents.
