One of the best aspects of the Indian Premier League is that it allows players from all over the world, at various stages of their careers, to share a dressing room and even compete against each other on the field. In any match, a bona fide international superstar cricketer could be batting with a young, uncapped Indian cricketer or facing the bowling of an international teammate.
As such, as a young cricketer who has gotten a chance to be a part of this incredible setup, you have the chance to interact with some true legends of the game. While asking them for advice and picking their brains on certain cricket-related topics is a dream scenario, sometimes you just need a quick souvenir to commemorate the moment you shared the field with one of your heroes.

This was the scene in the aftermath of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s eight-wicket victory over the Sunrisers Hyderabad, as the younger cricketers in the Hyderabad camp made a beeline for the man of the moment, Virat Kohli.
Having just faced off against him, the likes of Mayank Dagar and Nitish Reddy were among those keen to get their jerseys, caps, and other objects autographed by the great man. Kohli, undoubtedly buoyed by his contribution to his side’s win, was more than happy to oblige and was seen sharing jokes with the players as he signed a number of autographs.
It was Kohli’s incredible 100 off 63 balls that paved the way for Bangalore to secure a crucial win over Hyderabad, keeping their playoff hopes alive. Bangalore now travel back home to welcome table-topping Gujarat Titans, knowing that a win would boost their chances of making it into the knockout stage of the tournament immensely.
For the Sunrisers, it’s a different story altogether, as they fight to stay off the bottom of the IPL table, but several players in their ranks left the ground with some cherished memories and souvenirs to mark the occasion by.
