WATCH : MS Dhoni adores his horses as he enjoys his time off

Recently, MS Dhoni, the former captain of India, was seen tending to his beloved horses. Since the IPL 2023 concluded in May, the renowned cricket player has been savouring life off the pitch by spending time with friends and family. That was his final sighting while playing cricket.

Despite having a knee problem that limited his mobility, he was nevertheless able to play the whole Indian Premier League season this year. MS Dhoni skillfully led CSK to victory, helping them secure the IPL championship for a record-tying sixth time.

Since then, he has been touring India and the rest of the world to refresh himself. To the delight of Dhoni’s devoted supporters, CSK has decided to keep him for the upcoming season, guaranteeing his presence in the IPL 2024.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, the opener for India, recently said that he took a lot of game awareness lessons from MS Dhoni, the leader of his IPL squad. In the current International series between Australia and India, Ruturaj is an Indian player.

He has been playing well, and in the third Twenty20 International, he scored his first century for his country. In those challenging conditions, Gaikwad began the match carefully and managed just 22 runs in just 22 balls prior to going on the rampage and making a fifty-two-ball century.

“Mahi bhai is always keen on reading situations” : Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaiwad revealed in an interview with Jio Cinema about the way he evolved his thinking to bat in accordance with the circumstances. He said, “I would say I learned being in CSK because, you know, Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni) is always keen on reading situations, you know, understanding the game, how the game will progress. And he more or less sends a message where you have to look for a team score.”

The Chennai Super Kings batter added, “You know what the team requires at that certain stage, irrespective of where you are batting, Either you are batting on 15 or not out or you just started, what the team requires just in particular that over. So I think that has stayed with me. And I’m trying to continue that.”
