The T20 fever has taken over the entire cricketing fraternity as the 20-20 World Cup is here to enthral the fans with riveting cricketing action. With three days to go in the Super 12 stage of the tournament, the qualified teams are having a fun time getting used to the conditions of Australia. Pakistan Cricket also released a fun video of a throw challenge including Matthew Hayden, Mohammad Wasim and Naseem Shah.
In the video, Pakistan team Mentor Matthew Hayden challenged Mohammad Wasim to throw the ball out of the Melbourne Cricket Ground and promised him $100 if he manages to do so. Naseem Shah also joins the party and asks to increase the prize money to $200, which would be equally divided between Wasim and Shah.
Later in the video, Wasim uses all his might to attempt to throw the ball out of the stadium. However, he fails in his attempt as the ball lands in the top tier. Following the failed attempt, everyone bursts into laughter as Wasim is seen giving excuses for his failure.

Pakistan to start their World Cup campaign against India on 23rd October
Pakistan has completed their preparations for their tournament opener against India on Sunday at the MCG. They played two practice games first against England and the second against Afghanistan today. In the game against England, Pakistan’s batters failed to impress as they could only score 160 in the 19-over-game. England managed to chase down the total with 26 balls to spare.
The second warm-up game played against Afghanistan earlier on Wednesday ended with no result. Pakistan star seamer Shaheen Afridi managed to pick two wickets as they restricted Afghanistan to 154/6 after 20 overs. The rain played spoilsport as Pakistan were 19/0 after 2.2 overs.
The rain threat also looms large over India vs Pakistan match on Sunday as Melbourne’s weather forecast for October 23 predicts significant rainfall for the city. The likelihood of rain on October 23 is up to 70%. A wet period is going to hit the state of Victoria and is predicted to begin on Thursday. Disappointingly, there is a good chance that the weather will cause the game to be shortened or even abandoned.
