Pakistan’s road to World Cup Final is incredibly difficult now.

Pakistan’s back-to-back losses at the 20-20 World Cup has thrown their campaign off the rails. With zero points in two games, they languish at fifth in Group 2. Not only will they have to win their remaining matches but will have to also hope for favourable outcomes in all other Group 2 matches.

The whole country was thrown into meltdown after losing to Zimbabwe in their second match. From fans to ex-players, everyone criticised the Men in Green for their performance. It is not like the players did not know of their wrongdoing either. Many players were seen dejected following their loss to Zimbabwe, Shadab Khan was even seen crying after the game.

In a recent video, however, the Pakistan bowler looks much more motivated and in a better emotional state. The video posted by Zee News shows Khan clicking pictures with fans and appears to say, “Inshallah, final khel ke jayenge (we’ll only go after playing the final).”

The video of Shadab Khan being highly motivated and in great hope has now gone viral on social media.

As for Pakistan’s chances, they are very bleak at the moment. They have so far earned zero points from their two matches, while India has four in their two. South Africa with a win and a draw in two matches has three points and sits at second in the group. Even Zimbabwe who defeated Pakistan in their second match has three points and sits at third.

Bangladesh with two points from two matches is ahead of Pakistan at fourth. All these teams have better chances of qualifying than Pakistan at the moment. Pakistan are playing against the Netherlands next in their Super 12 match on October 30th. India on the other will play against South Africa in their next match on Sunday, October 30th.

As for the other group, it’s a very tight affair between the six teams
