The SA 20 match between Pretoria Capitals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape took an amusing turn when a fan tumbled down while trying to catch a ball that was hit out of bounds, all while holding a beer. The incident occurred during a particularly tense moment of the game when Marco Jensen had just hit a powerful shot towards the stands. As the ball soared towards the crowd, the fan, who was sitting close to the boundary, stood up and stretched out his hand to make the catch, beer in hand.
Chasing a huge target of 217 the Eastern Cape were batting at 137/7 in 16.2 overs and needed to make quick runs all while not losing wickets. Jansen hit the ball into the stands behind the long on enticing the fans to catch the ball.
As the ball got closer, however, one fan lost his balance and ended up falling to the ground, much to the surprise and amusement of the crowd. The fall was comical as the fan tumbled down while holding his beer, trying to keep it from spilling. He landed on the ground with a thud and the beer spilled all over him. The fan almost hit a small girl who was sitting under the umbrella as he tumbled down to the ground.

The crowd erupted in laughter as the fan lay motionless on the ground for a moment, beer covering his body. Despite being covered in beer, the fan was able to walk away from the incident unharmed and even managed to raise a smile to the crowd.
The incident served as a reminder of the passion and excitement that cricket fans bring to the game, but also the importance of being careful while trying to make a catch, especially when holding a beer!
As for the match, it was won by Pretoria Capitals by 37 runs in the 6th match of the SA 20. With this win, the PRC have moved onto 2nd position while SUNE languishes at the bottom with zero points.
