A Virat Kohli fan was spotted at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore during a game of Pakistan Super League season 7 between Multan and Quetta Gladiators. Kohli hasn’t toured Pakistan with the senior Indian team. The only time he toured Pakistan was in September 2006, when he played Tests and ODIs for the U19 team against their arch-rivals.
The senior team last played in Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2008, where they lost to Sri Lanka in the final. In November that year, the Mumbai terrorist attacks led to political tensions between the two countries which meant the 2009 India tour of Pakistan was cancelled. Coincidentally, the Sri Lanka team was called to play the cancelled series. The tourists were attacked at the end of their tour. Since then, teams didn’t visit the country until recently.

The current political situation indicates that there won’t be any bilateral cricket between the two teams in near future. Both teams will play in the 20-20 World Cup encounter on 23 October this year in Melbourne. However, Pakistan fans can witness a Kohli century in Pakistan in 2025.
Pakistan will be hosting the Champions Trophy in 2025. The world cricket governing body is confident of hosting the tournament in the Asian Country. Currently, Kohli is 33 years old and may play the game till 2025 or beyond. If that happens, the Pakistan cricket fans might witness the master class of Virat Kohli in Pakistan.
