Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni, two of India’s most successful players, share a great bond that dates back a long time. Virat has always been very vocal about his admiration for the former Indian cricketer under whom he made his debut.

Now, the 34-year-old was once again left amazed by the magnitude of the presence of MS Dhoni. Virat posted a story on his Instagram handle in which he was holding a water bottle with an image of MS Dhoni on it. “He is everywhere (heart-eye emoji). Even on the water bottle @mahi7781,” he wrote in the caption.

In the meantime, Dhoni expanded his expensive car collection, and the 41-year-old eventually took his Chennai franchise teammates Kedar Jadhav and Ruturaj Gaikwad for a ride in it. The former wicketkeeper purchased a brand new expensive Kia EV6, demonstrating his love for cars yet again. Fans who went crazy over the story claimed that Dhoni’s love story with cars would never end and wished the batter luck with his new car.

As of now, the Dhoni-led Chennai franchise has released Chris Jordan and long-time player Dwayne Bravo, demonstrating that team management is looking forward to and willing to bring in a few youngsters in the upcoming mini-auction on December 23 in Kochi.

With the CEO of the Chennai team, Kasi Vishwanathan, clearing the air on the captaincy, it remains to be seen whether Dhoni will captain the team after 2023. According to reports, the 2011 World Cup-winning skipper is set to join team India in some capacity, but it remains to be seen whether the Indian cricket board will hire him as the team’s mentor.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli, along with other senior team members, has taken a break from India’s tour of New Zealand. Hardik Pandya has been appointed as captain of the team for the T20I series. The former Indian cricketer will return to the team for the Bangladesh tour next month.
