As the official theme song for the 2023 ODI World Cup is out, the sponsor of the Indian team has come up with its own theme song for India, which is with the title ‘Teen ka dream’, which translates to ‘Dream of third’.
The title refers to the attempt for India’s third win in the ODI World Cup. The Indian team has won two ODI World Cups till now. In 1983, the Indian team became the first team apart from the West Indies to win the ODI World Cup. India became the first team to win a World Cup final at home in 2011, when they beat Sri Lanka in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
In the previous edition in 2019, India lost the semifinal of the World Cup against New Zealand, despite losing only one match in the league stage of the tournament and topping the table. The fans want the team to perform well in the 2023 edition of the tournament, which will be taking place in India after 12 long years. It is the first instance of India hosting the mega event by themselves.
