Harry Kane, a striker for Tottenham Hotspur, reportedly has a deal to sign with Bayern Munich because Spurs approved the Bavarian giants’ over-$100 million bid.
Tottenham, who were entering the final year of the contract along with their talismanic striker, reportedly agreed an offer of £86.4 million. While Kane apparently liked working under his new manager, Ange Postecoglou, he seemed hesitant to commit to a new contract since he was looking for a fresh challenge.
The 30-year-old is currently in the process of agreeing to a four-year contract with Bayern and is awaiting permission from Spurs to fly to Munich for his physical tests, according to a tweet from David Ornstein.
Harry Kane – the record breaker
One of the greatest English attackers of his time will soon leave the country with Kane’s impending departure. He is also the highest goal scorer for England with 58 goals to his name, which was five more than the retired English star Wayne Rooney
With 435 matches across competitions and a club record 280 goals, he is reportedly expected to depart Spurs. This total includes 213 Premier League goals, a record number for a single team in the league, and is just 47 goals shy of Alan Shearer’s record.
In every single one of his last nine campaigns in the Premier League, Harry Kane has scored at least 17 goals, making him the model of consistency.
The 30-year-old was second to Golden Boot winner Erling Haaland (36 goals) in the 2022–23 Premier League season with 30 goals in 38 games. Speaking about the Golden Boot, Kane has won it three times, in the 2015–16 (25 goals), 2016–17 (29 goals), and 2020–21 (23 goals) campaigns.
Within the UEFA Champions League last season, Kane failed to score despite his Premier League scoring prowess. In eight games, he scored just one, and Spurs fell to AC Milan during the Round of 16 by an overall score of 1-0. Harry Kane scored one goal in the FA Cup and finished this campaign with 32 goals as well as five assists across 49 games throughout all competitions.
