#1 Chris Gayle’s unbeaten 175 vs Pune in 2013

In a 20-over game, it would be amazing to watch when a player score more than 150 runs alone. At Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy stadium during the 2013 IPL, Chris Gayle struck an unbeaten 175 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors India. In his innings, Gayle hammered 17 sixes and 13 boundaries and helped RCB to post a massive total of 263/5 in 20 overs.
Gayle, along with Tilakaratne Dilshan, added 167 runs for the first wicket, to which Dilshan contributed with just 33 runs off 36 balls. Apart from Gayle, De Villiers also hammered 31 runs off just 8 balls as Pune were thrashed by 130 runs. Steve Smith was the highest run-getter for Pune as he scored 41 runs off 31 balls.
