‘Aeee Jhooth Bol raha hai’ – Fans react as former India spinner Harbhajan Singh calls Rohit Sharma a ‘diamond’

India skipper Rohit Sharma is a charismatic character, and he has been one of those players who are appreciated by everyone for his nature. In the last decade, Rohit has ruled white ball cricket and has one of the greatest Openers of all time. In the Indian Premier League Rohit has unmatchable records both as a captain and a player. His bond with other players has been amazing and has helped him to succeed as a captain.

Recently, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh praised Rohit for his amazing nature. Bhajji called him a ‘Diamond’ who respects and remembers old friends. While speaking with Star Sports, Harbhajan said, “Rohit Sharma is a diamond. I have never seen a better person than Rohit Sharma ever in my cricketing career. He’s the kind of person you would want to meet every time and this is the ultimate achievement any cricketer can ever achieve.”

Meanwhile, former allrounder Irfan Pathan also agreed with Harbhajan and said that Rohit respects everyone. Notably, Harbhajan Singh has shared a dressing room with Rohit Sharma since 2011 in IPL. He has also played under him for almost seven years and it has been amazing for Mumbai Indians.

Veteran spinner Harbhajan further said “You would like to meet this player (Rohit) every time. Forget what he has done on the field, but this is the success of Rohit Sharma. The real success of a person’s life is how you have shown respect towards others and how you have behaved and that’s why God is blessing Rohit Sharma. That’s why keep it up my ‘Chand’ (Rohit Sharma) and this time also the trophy should be Mumbai’s name.”

Rohit’s first IPL appearance was 15 years ago. He completed his 15-year stint in IPL on April 20. Rohit Sharma made his debut for the Deccan Chargers on April 20, 2008. In his debut match, he was dismissed for a duck. However, he went on to become the most successful IPL captain. He won five IPL titles with the Mumbai Indians.
