Star India batter Virat Kohli has been one of the greatest batsmen in the modern era. He has hammered various memorable innings and has curated plenty of records to his name. However, in IPL 2016, the world witnessed a Masterclass from a senior Indian batter. In 16 games of the IPL 2016 season, he scored a record 973 runs, including four centuries.
Nobody had ever demonstrated such domination with the bat in the IPL before him. He also scored 4 tons in that season, which is also a record. He aided RCB in getting to the championship game, but SRH played the spoiler, preventing him from taking home the trophy.
