The Indian T20 League is considered as one of the richest sports leagues in the world. The 15th edition of the league is round the corner and the winners this time will be receiving a whopping amount of 20 Cr INR. The players participating in the league are also seen to be receiving huge amounts of salaries. This leads us to question as what the managers of the high-profile franchises are earning. So, lets have a look at the Top 5 highest paid head coaches in the league.
1.Anil Kumble (4 Cr INR)- Anil Kumble with 619 wickets is the man with highest test wickets for India. Kumble has also participated in the Indian T20 League where he played in 42 matches taking 45 wickets at a great economy rate of 6.57. If experience is what you are counting on for the post of coach in your team there is no better man than him.
The veteran leg-spinner from India will be seen coaching the Punjab team in the 15th edition of the Indian T20 league. As it turns out Anil Kumble is going to be the highest paid coach for this season with a salary of 4Cr INR.
2.Stephen Fleming (3.5 Cr INR)- Stephen Felming is a calm, composed and well-sorted influence in the dressing room of any team. He captained his national side for about a decade. He had a short stint as a player in the Indian T20 League for Chennai appearing in only 10 matches, but then joined the franchise’s think tank as a coach. Since then, along with MS Dhoni he has been an integral part of the strategic team of the franchise.
He is going to receive a salary of 3.5 Cr INR for his services to the Chennai team in the Indian T20 League’s 15th edition.
 3.Tom Moody (3.5 Cr INR)- Tom Moody as a coach has already proved his mettle. Moody was hired as the coach for the Sri Lankan national team in 2005. The appointment did wonders to the team as they reached the finals of the 2007 50-overs world cup. Moody has previously been associated with some franchises as a coach in the Indian T20 League and did quite well.
The veteran Australian will be managing the Hyderabad team in Indian T20 League for the 2022 season. His services come at a cost of 3.5 CR INR for the franchise.
 4.Ricky Ponting (3.5 Cr INR)- Ricky Ponting as batsman and captain during his time was way over ordinary during his time. With more than 13,000 runs in both Tests and ODIs and an International century tally of 71, Ponting was always amongst the best of his time. Captaining Australia to two World Cups, proves the strategic genius in him. He has also had experience of Indian T20 League as a player.
The two-time World Cup winning captain from Australia is currently holding the position of head coach for the Delhi team. He charges 3.5 Cr INR to the franchise for his service.
 5.Brendon McCullum (3.4 Cr INR)- Brendon McCullum proved his worth as a player in the international level from the advent of T20 cricket. He was always known to be an explosive batsman but T20 cricket gave him the freedom to express himself in a different level. Adding to the explosive nature of his batting the tremendous fitness he displayed on field was also an asset to any team he played for. So, to guide a team in T20 cricket, there can be a few better than him.
McCullum the man who gave Indian T20 League a dream start with his 158 runs knock in the very first match is currently coaching the Kolkata team. McCullum charge 3.4 Cr INR for his services.
 The Coaches in the game of cricket play more of a behind-the-scenes role but are very important and integral parts of the team.
