In the 26th match of the ODI World Cup 2015, hosts Australia faced debutant Afghanistan at Perth Cricket Ground. While batting first, Australia posted a massive total of 417/6 with the help of David Warner’s 178 runs in 178 innings. In response, Afghanistan failed to fight against the mighty Aussies, as they were bundled up for a mere 142 runs, falling 275 runs short of the target.

#4. New Zealand beat Ireland by 290 runs in Aberdeen, 2008

In the first game of the Associate Tri-Series, New Zealand locked horns with Ireland. While batting first, the Kiwis posted a massive total of 402/2 in 50 overs.
