No matter where they come from around the world, every Real Madrid supporter is familiar with the slogan “Hala, Madrid!”. It is used to rally behind and cheer for the club at the iconic Santiago Bernabeu. The word Hala is widely used in the Spanish capital. The Spanish term vamos is a fairly common one, which roughly translates to “Come on!” or “Go Madrid!”. Even though it has a number of different connotations, but in the instance of Hala, Madrid!, it has the same meaning.
