The star all-rounder Hardik Pandya surprised everyone with his excellent captaincy in the Indian T20 League 2022. He guided the league debutants, Gujarat, to their maiden title in the tournament. He defied all the odds to take his team through.
After the tournament, Hardik also got an opportunity to lead India against Ireland in a two-match T20I series. In the absence of most of the senior players, he performed admirably to lead India to a 2-0 victory.
