Among the numerous celebrations this Diwali, Sara Ali Khan hosted a Diwali bash at her home on Thursday. Her ex-boyfriend and Love Aaj Kal 2 co-star Kartik Aaryan was among the guests. Kartik arrived at the bash with a clean-shaved look and a bright yellow kurta and white pyjama paired with Kolhapuris. Ananya Panday, who appeared with Sara on the couch of Koffee With Karan, also attended the party with boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapur.
A video of Kartik posing for photos before entering the party venue was shared by a paparazzi. He, on the other hand, did not smile as wide as he usually does and posed briefly before walking in. Kartik’s appearance at Sara’s Diwali party comes just one day after the telecast of her new Koffee With Karan episode, in which she discussed breakups and stated that it was “not always easy” to be cordial with someone with whom one has previously been involved.
It’s not the first time the two have met at a casual gathering. Sara had also gone to Kartik’s house in September for Ganpati Darshan. In the same month, the two were seen hugging each other at the Gadar 2 success party. The two were spotted vacationing in London at the same time in January, sparking rumours of a possible reconciliation. Sara and Kartik began dating around the time of the release of Love Aaj Kal 2 in 2020. The film did poorly at the box office. Imtiaz Ali directed the film.

On the work front, Kartik will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s directorial ‘Chandu Champion,’ which is set to be released on June 14, 2024. He will also appear in Hansal Mehta’s upcoming ‘Captain India’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan is all set to appear in the Life in a Metro sequel ‘Metro In Dino’ along with Aditya Roy Kapur.
