Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday will appear as guests on the next episode of Koffee With Karan season 8. Karan Johar, the show’s host, asked them about their rumoured boyfriends, as expected. While Sara denied dating cricketer Shubman Gill and hinted that he was in fact dating Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar, Ananya almost confirmed her relationship with actor Aditya Roy Kapur when she spoke about her ‘Aashiqui (love)’.
For their latest Koffee With Karan (KWK) appearance, Sara Ali Khan wore red and Ananya wore black. Karan was seen telling the two at the start of the new promo, “You have ex-boyfriends in common!” Sara responded, “Oh, that’s a very good start to the show.” Then Ananya said, “Let’s address the Liger in the room.” Sara replied, ‘No, no, no, no’, implying they were discussing Ananya’s Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda, who appeared on an episode of KWK with Ananya last year.

When Karan inquired about ‘alleged rumours’ of Sara dating Shubham Gill, the actor responded, “You have the wrong Sara guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke piche pada hai (The entire world is looking for the wrong Sara).” Karan then asked Ananya how she was ‘managing her nights’ after Sara answered a question in the rapid-fire round about something Ananya possesses that Sara does not. Sara mentioned that Ananya has ‘The Night Manager,‘ a web series in which Aditya plays the lead. Ananya responded to a question about her being Gumraah (another project starring Aditya) in love by saying, “Ashiqui aise hi hoti hai (Love is only like that)… What?! Stop talking!”
Sara made her KWK debut in 2018 with Season 6. The actor appeared with her father, actor Saif Ali Khan, on an episode of the celebrity chat show. She made her acting debut a few weeks later in the romantic film Kedarnath, in which she co-starred with the late Sushant Singh Rajput. Sara was joined on the Koffee couch by actor Janhvi Kapoor on season 7 of Koffee With Karan last year.
Ananya made her first appearance on Karan Johar‘s show in 2019. She appeared as a guest on Koffee With Karan Season 6 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, months before the release of their film Student of the Year 2. Ananya made her Bollywood debut in 2019. Ananya and her Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda appeared on Koffee With Karan season 7’s fourth episode last year.
