Star India batter Virat Kohli has been phenomenal in the last few months. He has scored more than 1500 runs in international cricket since coming back to form against Asia Cup last year. He has scored five centuries including 186 against Australia in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Notably, Kohli had a poor phase before the Aisa Cup and had a six-week break before the tournament. However, in the final league game against Afghanistan, the right-hander scored his first T20I century and made an electrifying comeback in form. Meanwhile, Kohli has spoken about his poor phase and he made a shocking revelation as he said that he was thinking about retiring after the Asia Cup 2022.
In a recent interview with Jio Cinema he said, “I was willing to accept that when I go back and play, it might be the last month of me playing competitive cricket.” Further speaking with Robin Uthappa he said, “Anushka’s conversations with me have always been priceless, she tells me the truth & straight forward, if I would have left myself in that phase (before Asia Cup), I would have become an egoistic maniac – she brings me to base level for a normal guy.”
“For me, Sachin Paaji has always been an emotion”, says Virat Kohli
Further speaking about Legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar, Kohli echoed what millions of Indians think. He said, “For me, Sachin Paaji has always been an emotion. You speak to anyone they always looked at him as one of their own and that happens because there is so much faith everyone has in him, and in fact, when he was playing we used to feel comfortable.
“He is our source of inspiration and source of comfort which we all look for, when he used to score runs, life was good. It is like eating home food, you know the feeling we get, the comfort”, he further added. Notably, Virat Kohli’s RCB will face CSK in the upcoming game of the season as they will host MS Dhoni‘s team on Monday.

It's so easy trolling greats like @imVkohli sitting at home but it shows what amount of negativity it can generate and how greater is impact
