India lead the 4 Test BGT series 2-1 against Australia

India presently has a 2-1 advantage after three games, and they have successfully defended their Border-Gavaskar Trophy after dominating in Nagpur and Delhi. India will aim to win the series and secure a position in the World Test Championship final. Hence the series’ final Test will be important for both teams. Australia will try to avoid losing another series to India by tying the series. Because of their nine-wicket victory in the Indore Test, the visitors have already advanced to the Test Championship final.

Australia’s Nathan Lyon decimated the Indian batting order in the third innings of the Indore Test by taking 8 wickets. In contrast, Indian leg spinner Ravindra Jadeja was named Player of the Match for the first two Tests.

Ravichandran Ashwin, a prominent spinner who claimed one five-wicket haul in the Nagpur Test, has also proved important for India. Matthew Kuhnemann, who made his Test debut during this series, proved to be a bowler who may help the visitors. As Australia cleaned India out for 109 runs in the opening inning of the Indore Test, he claimed five wickets.
