RCB vs MI, IPL 2023: Records, Stats and Pitch Report at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

Mumbai Indians and RCB will face off for the second time in IPL 2023 at Wankhede on Tuesday.

RCB vs MI IPL 2023

Mumbai Indians (MI) will host Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match no. 54 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on 9th May at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The two blockbuster teams of the cash-rich league had earlier con April 2 clashed each other at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and RCB won a one-sided game comprehensively by eight wickets. However, MI will look to exact their revenge in their fortress on Tuesday.

Mumbai started their IPL 2023 campaign on a poor note but they made an incredible comeback in the midway with pulling off some amazing 200+ chases. RCB, on the other hand, started the season on a positive note but then had an inconsistent run. Both teams have played 10 matches each and share equal points (10) after winning five matches. However, RCB is currently fifth in the points table due to their better net run rate than MI.

RCB vs MI: Head-to-head records

To date, the two teams have met 31 games in the IPL, with MI winning 17 and RCB winning 14. However, RCB have been dominant against the five-time champions in recent years, winning five of their last six matches against them. The Rohit Sharma-led side last defeated RCB in 2020.
