The first ever Counter-Strike 2 Major is set to start in March. Ahead of the esports tournament, the regional teams will need to secure a spot to compete through the Regional Major Ranking (RMR).
PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will feature teams from three regions. These are, European RMR (A and B), American RMR, and Asia-Pacific RMR. A total of 24 teams will face each other for the first Counter-Strike 2 Major winner title.
Teams and Format –
- European RMR Format
Due to the sheer number of Counter-Strike teams, the Europe region will feature two separate RMRs A and B. Each RMR will feature 16 teams in a Swiss System Format. The top 8 teams from both RMRs will proceed to the Copenhagen Major.
The teams in the 9th-11th position will move to the decider brackets, while the bottom five teams will be eliminated. A total of six teams will move to decider brackets, and one will secure a spot for the Copenhagen Major.
