The third match in the Legends League Cricket will be played between Gujarat Giants and Manipal Tigers at Lucknow on Monday starting at 7:30 PM. The Gujarat Giants are coming into the match having won their opening match while Manipal Tigers suffered a defeat in their opening encounter.

The Tigers lost their opening encounter against the Kings by three wickets. Mohammad Kaif starred with the bat for the Tigers who scored 73 off 59 balls. Kaif scored ten fours in his innings. With the ball, it was Ryan Sidebottom who shined for them picking up three wickets for 38 runs in four overs. The tigers will want their batters to take more responsibility in tonight’s game and give their bowlers a good total to defend.

Gujarat Giants

Gujarat Giants managed to chase a mammoth 180 in their opening encounter to get their tournament off to a winning start. Batter Kevin O’Brien wreaked havoc with the bat, scoring a magnificent 106 off 61 balls smashing 15 fours and three sixes in his innings. Bowlers KP Appanna and Rayad Emrit picked up two wickets each with the ball.

The Giants will also want their other batters to stand up to the occasion and play memorable knocks for their team. Mitchell McClenaghan and Ashok Dinda proved to be costly in the first match. They will also look to turn things around in the game tonight.
