Former Australian cricketer Mitchell Johnson, on Monday, shared an image of a snake from his hotel room in Kolkata. The aggressive former fast bowler, who is currently in India to play the Legends League Cricket, shared the image on Instagram, asking what type of snake it was.

The Legends League Cricket has brought the former legendary cricketers together under one banner. Johnson, who is representing India Capitals in the tournament, bowled for the first time and dismissed Virender Sehwag. While the Sehwag-led capital went on to win the match by a margin of three wickets, Johnson did well enough for himself, giving away 22 runs from his three overs.

Earlier, Johnson shared his views on India vs Australia and backed Virat Kohli to play well against the world champions. Johnson said that it was good for India that the former captain had returned back to form.

“It is good for India when their best players can make runs and keep the side confident. He is that player who changed the focus of the team when he took on the captaincy. The team will be happy that he is scoring runs,” Johnson told ANI.

“They have to be looking at winning the series in tough conditions. This will give them confidence heading into the World Cup. They should have a solid and settled team going into it. It will be a great series,” Johnson added.

During his playing days, Johnson and Kohli shared great rivalry on the field. In the 2014 Border Gavaskar Series in Australia, Kohli and Johnson had intense battles on the pitch. Kohli went on to score 692 runs in eight innings which is also his highest series aggregate ever.

After dominating Johnson in the Test series, Kohli couldn’t repeat his heroics against the left-arm seamer at the grand stage of the semi-final of the ODI World Cup 2015. He was dismissed cheaply by Johnson as Australia registered a comfortable win in the competition. Johnson is famously known for his fierce bowling performance in the 2013 Ashes where he picked up 27 wickets.
