Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are one of Bollywood’s cutest couples. Kiara recently appeared on the popular talk show Koffee With Karan 8′ (KWK) and discussed her relationship with Sidharth. She talked about what she liked and disliked about him. She said, “I love the way he (Sidharth Malhotra) values people. I tolerate the way he stresses me out whenever I have to get ready for an event because he isn’t prepared, so the stress falls on me. I must say that I am always on time. And I don’t dislike anything. There’s nothing to dislike about him.”
She also talked about how Sidharth Malhotra proposed to her using the Shershaah line. On Karan Johar‘s chat show she explained, “When Sid appeared in that episode (from the previous season), we had just returned from Rome, where he had proposed to me. My parents were not in the room. It was our first family vacation together.” Kiara explained, “I had a little inkling that he would propose. I told him, ‘You have to speak with my parents,’ and he said, ‘Are you kidding me?’ ‘Yeah, you first ask them and get their permission, let’s do it the right way,’ I said. They will be pleased.’ My mother, who had Covid, was unable to accompany us on our trip. So I accompanied his parents.”
Kiara gets candid on Koffee With Karan:
The actress continued, “It did come as a surprise because I didn’t know where on this trip and also in my head, I was like, I hope he does propose because now I’ve built it up and if he doesn’t propose on this trip but he did it. So it was the first place we went on that trip. He took us to this Michelin-starred restaurant, and his nephew was there to take photos and capture the moment. I’m tired because I just arrived and joined them on this trip. As a result, I was exhausted. He has also planned the works. On top of that, he’s prepared a candle-lit dinner. We’ll return after dinner.”
She went on to explain, “He takes me for a walk, and suddenly, a violinist emerges from the bushes, playing, and his nephew grabs our video from the bushes, and Sid kneels and proposes. I was completely taken aback. Then he starts saying Shershaah lines like, ‘Dilli ka sidha sadha launda hu (I’m a simple Delhi boy).'”
Sidharth and Kiara married on February 7 at Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan in a small ceremony. They fell in love while filming Shershaah. In the meantime, Sidharth will be seen in his upcoming film Yodha. In addition, he will make his digital debut in the upcoming web series Indian Police Force.
The series, directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty in pivotal roles, will be available exclusively on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Kiara will appear in the upcoming Game Changer alongside Ram Charan from RRR, as well as the action thriller War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
