The visitors have completely dominated the fourth and final Test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Narendra Modi Stadium. While the batters have been having a good time in the middle, the bowlers have had nothing to look forward to.

On Day 2, Australia resumed their batting innings with a score of 255/4. They did not lose a single wicket on Day 2 at lunch, and Usman Khawaja, who had already completed his century, and Cameron Green, who had scored a half-century, looked very strong.

In the meantime, during the first session of Day 2, the Indian players were served fruits on a plate on the field during the drinks break. While it is common for players to consume a banana on the go, eating watermelon on a plate is unheard of.

As soon as the images were posted online, fans began criticising the Indian team and its players on Twitter. While the players could have been eating watermelon to beat the heat, fans mocked them for their relaxed demeanour during the game.

“Bring some spicy samosa, vada pav, misal pav and give this aussie and see the result. Pitch jaise bhi hogi wicket milegi,” a user wrote. “Bohat chunune kat raha the saaloko 5 din ka test chahiye le ab boring test ,” wrote another user.

As for the game, Unlike the previous matches in the series, the Ahmedabad wicket appeared to be much better to bat on, and after winning the toss, Steve Smith elected to bat first. They batted brilliantly, so this proved to be the correct decision.

Usman Khawaja maintained his cool and applied pressure on India, forming an important partnership with the captain. Following that, Khawaja and Green added 85 runs for the fifth wicket and finished Day 1 unbeaten. In the final over of the day, the opening batter hit his maiden century against India, becoming the first Australian to do so in India in eight years.

Here is how Twitter reacted to the Indian team
