India clashed against Sri Lanka in the third match on January 7th and Suryakumar Yadav spellbounded all with his clean hitting. The right-hand batter scored his third T20I hundred in just 45 balls to showcase sensational hitting.
The 32-year-old came into bat when the Indian lost Rahul Tripathi after choosing to bat first. India have been calling for an aggressive approach with the bat but it is only Yadav who brings in this approach in matches.
Once again the right-hand batter was at his best as he hit an unbeaten 112 in just 51 runs. His knock featured 7 fours and 9 sixes and played at a sensational strike rate of 219.61.
The India batter stood tall among all the others as he made Sri Lanka bowlers feel helpless. He showcased every shot from the book and many others that are still to be written about. On the back of Suryakumar’s incredible inning, Hardik Pandya-led India posted 228 on the board and look well-poised to clinch the match.
