Nobody can forget the historic match between India and Pakistan in the 20-20 World Cup 2022, where Virat Kohli played the best innings of his life. He scored 82 runs in 53 balls to take his team through a chase that looked very difficult to get to. He changed the game in the penultimate over, when he hit pacer Haris Rauf for consecutive sixes.
Now, months later, the Pakistani pacer was reminded of the nightmare that Kohli proved to be in that chase during a TV show called “Hasna Mana Hai”. In a segment of the show, Rauf was blindfolded and asked to guess the image displayed on the screen.
Indian sports icon Virat Kohli was depicted in the image. The player was perplexed when the host insisted that many people do not consider him to be a human after Rauf narrowed it down to a human. The host said, “Usko inta upar rakhte hai ki usko insan hi nahi mante. (They consider him so big that they don’t take him for a human).”
Rauf then asked if the person was from Pakistan, and the host said no. The next thing that the host said as a hint for Rauf became a laughingstock for everyone. “Ye aisa hi jo rakh rakh ke deta hai, aapko bhi rakh rakh ke diye hai. (He is someone who torments the players, he has tormented you as well),” said the host. This even left Rauf burst into laughter.
Finally, the 29-year-old confirmed if it was a cricketer and guessed it to be Kohli.
