Young and athletic Rishabh Pant who is spending time on the sidelines is celebrating his birthday today. Despite only being 26 years old, Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has already had plenty of ups and downs during his career.

During the 2016 ICC U-19 World Cup, Pant stole the show with a blazing 18-ball fifty against Nepal. The victory allowed Pant to be selected in the same year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. The Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) ultimately acquired his services.

Pant was called up for the first time to India quite quickly. He played in his maiden ODI and Test the following year after making his debut in a T20I match versus England in February 2017.

When Rishabh Pant made his debut for India, he was known as a limited-over specialist. However, Pant eventually established his talent in Test matches and developed into a dependable alternative in India’s middle order.

Over the course of 33 red-ball matches, the 26-year-old has already broken the three-digit mark on five occasions since scoring his first Test century throughout the 2018 tour of England.

Pant’s historic Gabba Test match versus Australia in 2021 included maybe his most thrilling innings. On the last day, he produced an incredible 89-run knock from 138 balls, aiding India in achieving the apparently insurmountable goal of 328 runs. Till this point, Pant has played for India in 30 ODIs as well as 66 T20Is, scoring 865 and 987 runs, respectively.

Rishabh Pant travelled to Badrinath and Kedarnath ahead of birthday!

A day before his 26th birthday, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant travelled to the sacred sites of Badrinath and Kedarnath in Uttarakhand to participate in religious rites.

A catastrophic accident that Pant was engaged in last year while commuting from Delhi to Roorkee rendered him ineligible for competition until 2023, but he continues to be making strides in his recuperation and is now nearing full fitness.

The Delhi Capitals skipper visited Badrinath on Tuesday before moving on to Kedarnath. Umesh Kumar, a Khanpur MLA, was with him. Pant offered his respects to the revered sites in the midst of followers and admirers.
