Red Bull racing promotion in India

Red bull Racing has found a bizarre way to promote its show run, which will be held in Mumbai on March 12. In this event, David Coulthard, a thirteen-time F1 race winner, will pilot the RB7 around the streets of Bandra. There will also be a bike stunt riding exhibition starring Arunas ‘Aras’ Gibieza, one of the world’s most recognized pro stunt riders.

Meanwhile, ahead of the event, Red Bull Racing took to its Twitter handle to promote the event in its own manner. In the photos they put, Coulthard was driving his Formula One car in the Mumbai streets. However, it caught the attention of a rickshaw driver and his passenger. In the third photo, David was seen coming out of a rickshaw.

Meanwhile, talking more about the event, Coulthard will pilot Sebastian Vettel’s 2011 F1 championship-winning RB7. 12 years back, the vehicle won 12 races and took 18 of 19 pole positions, making it one of the most dominating cars in Formula One history. David Coulthard is a British former racing driver from Scotland, later turned presenter, commentator, and journalist. He competed in 15 seasons of Formula One between 1994 and 2008, taking 13 Grand Prix victories and 62 podium finishes.

The only team to have won the Indian Grand Prix returns to India after famously conquering the world’s highest motorable road at Khardung-la. Their last appearance in India was at the Hyderabad Show Run in 2015, with Coulthard behind the wheel. India has a lot of Formula One fans. Red Bull Racing happens to be the only team to win all the Indian GP during its three-year stint at the Buddh International Circuit.

Red Bull is one of the most successful teams in Formula One

The team has won four consecutive Constructors’ Championships from 2010 to 2013. Among their star drivers was Sebastian Vettel, who won four consecutive Driver’ Championships with the team from 2010 to 2013.
