In a significant move during the IPL 2020 season, Trent Boult, the skilled New Zealand left-arm fast bowler, was traded from the Delhi Capitals (DC) to the Mumbai Indians (MI). This strategic trade proved to be a game-changer, with Boult playing a vital role in the Mumbai Indians’ triumph in the 2020 IPL, notably excelling in the final.
He not only earned the Man of the Match title but was also crowned Player of the Season. Boult’s remarkable performance included securing 25 wickets throughout the tournament. This enabled him to secure the third-highest wicket-taker position in the tournament.

Ahead of the 2016 IPL players auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore acquired KL Rahul. Rahul, who made his debut for RCB in 2013, was transferred from Sunrisers Hyderabad to RCB during the trade window. He was joined by Parvez Rasool in the all-cash-player trade.
