Mumbai, who placed last in the 2022 season’s points standings, has made some adjustments to their coaching staff for the Indian T20 League 2023. For the first time in the competition’s history, the five-time champions placed last in the standings last year. In 2023, Mumbai plans to make a comeback. It’s interesting to note that five Mumbai support staff members have previously worked as Bangalore representatives. These are the names of those five people.
#1 Mark Boucher- Head coach of Mumbai in 2023
Mark Boucher, a former head coach of the South African team, will take charge of an Indian T20 League franchise in 2023 for the first time in his professional career. Mahela Jayawardene, Mumbai’s former head coach, was elevated to a global position and replaced by Boucher, who will coach Mumbai’s team in the competition.
During his playing days, Boucher represented Bangalore and Kolkata in the cash-rich tournament. He participated in 27 games for Bangalore, scoring 388 runs with a 128.05 strike rate.
