Delhi and Punjab will lock horns at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on April 20. Both teams have blown hot and cold so far. The 2020 finalists have won two and lost three. On the other hand, Punjab have won three and lost as many. The teams will be desperate for a win in coming game.

Team News

Delhi: Mitchell Marsh and a few more members of the team has tested positive for COVID-19. The development will force Delhi to make at least one change in the team.

Key Players: 

David Warner: David Warner has started his stint with the Delhi team on a positive note. The southpaw has scored two half centuries in the tournament so far. He is one of the most successful overseas player with 5417 runs to his name. Warner will have to come good if Delhi have to get back to winning ways.

Kuldeep Yadav: The left-arm leggie took four wickets in the game against Kolkata. While he has leaked a few runs, he has taken wickets as well. Delhi won’t mind him giving a few runs but picking wickets in middle overs.

Probable XI: Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Lalit Yadav, Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mustafizur Rahman, Khaleel Ahmed/Anrich Nortje/Lungi Ngidi

Punjab: Mayank Agarwal is expected to be back in the team after missing out on the last game against Hyderabad.  Prabhsimran Singh, who played in the absence of Agarwal, will have to make way

Key Players: 

Liam Livingstone: The explosive batter from England is in a great form with three fifties in the season so far. In the game against Hyderabad, he scored 60 off 33 balls and bailed the team out of trouble. Livingstone is a sort of player who if stays at the wicket for long enough, will bat Delhi out of the match.

Arshdeep Singh: The left-arm medium pacer couldn’t pick a wicket in the last game against Hyderabad. However, he has been one of the top performers for the team. He will be keen to add a few wickets to his tally against Delhi.

Pitch Report: The Brabourne Stadium have produced good wickets so far. However, with continuous cricket, the pitches are getting slower, making life difficult for the batters.
