In the last few years, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore player in the IPL has toiled hard for Mumbai in red-ball cricket. He is the first uncapped Indian cricketer to score more than 900 runs in two back-to-back seasons. Only Wasim Jaffer did during around the late 90s and early 2000s.
