Fans troll Jasprit Bumrah as he uploads video from net session post injury

Jasprit Bumrah is one of the prime bowlers for team India and the pacer was ruled out of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 on the back of an injury. Eventually, the pacer is yet to make a comeback for the Men in Blue and on December 16, Friday, video of him hitting the nets rocked the internet, as fans claimed that the pacer is on his way to making a stunning comeback.

Notably, fans have been claiming that the Indian pacer would be fit only for the Indian T20 League and not for international matches. Notably, Bumrah has a long history of sustaining injuries in frequent successions that saw him getting ruled out of international matches, series and tournaments.

The Men in Blue, on the other hand, missed his services in the recently concluded multinational tournament, as they lost to England in the semi-finals by 10 wickets, making it the most embarrassing loss for team India in recent times. While a few claimed that the pacer hit the nets only for the Indian T20 League, a few others backed him and said that Bumrah might well as be back for the Test series against Australia in March 2023.

Would Jasprit Bumrah prove his prowess yet again?

As things stand, it remains to be seen if Bumrah would make a roaring comeback, given that the pacer is still vulnerable. The right-arm pacer’s last international match came against England at Lord’s in July 2022 and since then, the speedster has been out of action.

Earlier, when the pacer was ruled out of the 20-20 World Cup 2022, Bumrah uploaded a story targeting the critics who trolled him for being unfit for major tournaments. “You’ll never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks,” the pacer posted Winston Churchill’s quote on his Instagram account.

Fans opined that it was unwanted and hit back at Bumrah for comparing them to dogs, while a few claimed that it was only for the haters. Either way, it remains to be seen if Bumrah would prove his prowess yet again and prove his critics wrong. As things stand, let us take a look at a few Twitter reactions to Bumrah’s video:
