Star India batter Virat Kohli has been in red-hot form since Asia Cup 2022. After his maiden T20I ton against Afghanistan, the 35-year-old batter has scored over 1500 international runs, including five centuries. He has continued his dominance with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
In the ongoing season, he has scored 279 runs in seven matches at an average of 46.50, including four half-centuries. His ongoing form has helped RCB to clinch some memorable victories. Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey revealed that she is a big Virat Kohli fan and believes the former India skipper will clinch orange Cap this year.
While speaking with Star Sports, the official television broadcaster of the Indian Premier League, Ananya said that Kohli will score the most runs in the ongoing tournament and will win the Orange Cap. She said, “Virat Kohli will win the orange cap in IPL 2023.” Notably, Ananya Pandey is set to hit Cinemas with “Dream Girl 2”. She will share the screen with Aayushman Khurrana.

Amid Faf du Plessis’ injury, Kohli is set to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in upcoming games. Faf, who suffered a rib injury, while playing against Chennai Super Kings at the M Chinnaswamy stadium cannot field, though he bats. Notably, RCB is set to face Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on May 1.
Kohli and company will look to avenge their defeat in the season. The team lost a close encounter early in the tournament with KL Rahul’s LSG. RCB is currently holding the fifth position in the points table as they have won four out of seven games in the ongoing season. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has been dismissed for a golden duck in their last game against Rajasthan Royals. He will be keen to score in the upcoming games.
