Bill Guttentag, a two-time Oscar winner, is directing the upcoming movie “Afghan Dreamers,” in which Ali Fazal is expected to play a major role. Ali, who is renowned for his powerful roles in Hollywood productions such as “Furious 5,” “Victoria and Abdul,” “Death on the Nile,” and “Kandahar,” is set to play the lead role in “Afghan Dreamers.” The film tells the true story of a programme that Afghan tech entrepreneur Roya Mahboob started in 2017 with the goal of empowering young women in science and technology in spite of the obstacles presented by their country’s patriarchal society.
