Dinesh Karthik is having a fairy-tale on the field of late. The wicketkeeper batter has stormed his way back into the Indian team after having an impressive Indian T20 League season this year.
The cricketer has endured a lot in his personal life. Dinesh Karthik was earlier married to his childhood friend Nikita Vanjara. Their marriage was jeopardized as his Tamil Nadu teammate Murali Vijay had an affair with his wife Nikita. In 2012, Karthik got to know about their affair and divorced his wife. During that time, Nikita was pregnant with their first child.
Soon after the divorce, Murali Vijay married Nikita, and the pair currently has a three-year-old kid. In August 2015, Dinesh Karthik, on the other hand, married a national-level squash player, Dipika Pallikal.
