Glenn McGrath
The former Australia pace spearhead was one of the most feared bowlers around the world. He has taken 563 and 381 wickets in Tests and ODIs, respectively. On the other hand, he has a charitable side to him too.
When his late wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in the early 2000s, the former right-arm pacer started a charity organization ‘The McGrath foundation’ in 2008. Since then, every New Year’s Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground generates funds for the same cause. The foundation has 143 Breast Care Nurses who provide breast cancer patients with physical and emotional support.
