Finally, the makers of Fukrey 3 have dropped its first official poster and it is as quirky as it gets. The internet is loving to see the first look of their favourite Fukrey’s. Varun Sharma’s character was dressed like a peacock in the original poster. Pulkit Samrat was seen hanging from a wood, his face expressionless. In the following poster, Pankaj Tripathi sat with his legs crossed, while Manjot Singh made a face. Richa Chadha smiled and flashed the victory sign on the final poster. She folded her hands and clutched a cutout of her poster.
The post was captioned, “Meet the characters now, not later, before the picture comes the trailer. The trailer for #Fukrey3 will be out tomorrow.” In response to the post, actor Kriti Kharbanda tweeted, “@pulkitsamrat hello hunny! “You’re so hot!” Many admirers mourned the loss of Ali Fazal. “Where is Zafar Bhai??” wrote one. “Where is Kaptaan?” inquired one. “Why is Ali Fazal not there?” wondered one Instagram user. “Missing @alifazal9 bro,” another fan said. In the first and second instalments of the film, Ali Fazal portrayed Zafar.

In a statement earlier this year, Ali Fazal asked, “So Zafar aayega ya nahi?” Baar baar, yahi puch rahe hain. Sorry, saathiyon, but this isn’t a baari! Guddu bhaiya bhi banna padhta hai, Zafar bhai. Aur do universes overlap ho jaate hain kabhi kabhi (Everyone is asking me why Zafar isn’t in Fukrey this time; sorry, my friends, he won’t; at times, Zafar has to become Guddu, and these two universes overlap). Once a fukra, always a fukra, thus I’m constantly around… But I won’t be appearing in the third instalment of the Fukras, Bholi, and Panditji! I would have liked to be a part of it, but time and schedules did not permit it. I will return at some point in the future, possibly sooner than you expect. Zafar will return after a brief diversion to entertain you.”
On September 28, the third instalment of the comedy-drama will be released in theatres. Fukrey 3 was directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the aegis of Excel Entertainment. Since its debut in 2013, Fukrey has become one of Hindi cinema’s most renowned desi comedy franchises. Fukrey 3 was originally scheduled to be released on December 1. It was supposed to be released on September 7 to coincide with Janmashtami, but it was put back to December 1.
