Virat Kohl is the poster boy of Indian cricket. Apart from his skills on the pitch, the star batter is also known for being a complete entertainer off the field as well. Cricketers are often seen revealing some dressing room secrets during interviews. Wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik has recently revealed another hidden aspect of Kohli in the dressing room.

In a recent interview, Karthik stated that Kohli does the most online shopping in the team and every day he gets a package under a different name. The former Indian captain is a brand ambassador of many famous brands. It seems like the former Indian captain takes his stress away by buying his favourite stuff online.

Meanwhile, Karthik has fulfilled his dream of getting selected in the Indian team for the 20-20 World Cup. The star batter had made a commitment to himself to represent his country at the mega tournament this year. He made a roaring comeback to the Indian team on the back of his stupendous performances in the Indian T20 League, earlier, this year.

The wicketkeeper batter scored 330 runs at an average of 55 and a magnificent strike rate of 183. The 37-year-old played the role of a finisher perfectly for his team and won several matches for them. The Tamil Nadu batter was elated to get selected into the Indian team for the World Cup last week. He took to Twitter and expressed his happiness by tweeting ‘Dreams do come true’.

Karthik and Rohit Sharma are the only two players from the current squad who played the inaugural edition of the 20-20 World Cup in 2007. The finisher was also awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ award in India’s first-ever T20I against South Africa in 2006.

In the 52 matches Karthik has played in the format so far, he’s scored 608 runs at an average of 27 and a strike rate of 141. He has one half-century to his name which he scored against South Africa in June. Karthik will be raring to go in the World Cup next month and will give his all to win the trophy for his nation.
