The first match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia was played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur . The Indian team clinched a promising victory over the Kangaroos by an inning and 132 runs. Meanwhile, Captain Rohit Sharma was seen getting frustrated at the cameraman for a moment during the match and the video went viral on social media.
Ravichandran Ashwin came to bowl the 18th over in the second innings. He made a strong LBW appeal against Australian batter Peter Handscomb on his second ball of the over. But umpire Richard Illingworth did not seem to agree with Ashwin’s appeal.
However, Ashwin convinced Rohit to demand a review. Amidst all this, when the third umpire was checking the ball tracking on the screen, the cameraman focused on Rohit Sharma as well as the Indian players. Rohit was annoyed by this and he muttered some abusive words as well.

Talking about the match, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first, however, the visiting team scored only 177 runs in the first innings, Jadeja, who was making his comeback in an international match after 5 months due to an injury, took 5 wickets. In response, Team India scored 400 runs in their first innings. Debutant Todd Murphy had a successful outing as a Test cricketer, picking up 7 wickets in the first innings.
During the Indian batting, captain Rohit smashed a magnificent hundred and departed after scoring 120 runs, allrounder Axar Patel who wasn’t able to pick any wickets in this match, scored 84 runs after taking a fifer Jadeja showed his batting ability and scored 70 runs.
India got a lead of 223 runs in the first innings. But as soon as Team India started bowling in the second innings, the Kangaroo team succumbed. Ashwin and Jadeja completely destroyed the Australian batting in the second innings as well
