Box office performance of Dream Girl 2: The Ayushmann Khurrana movie had a strong opening on Friday and has held up nicely throughout the week. According to preliminary figures provided by Sacnilk.com, the movie, which also features Ananya Panday, earned 7.75 crore on Raksha Bandhan. After six days of release, it has a current value of 59.75 crore.
Dream Girl 2 made 16.7 crores on its first Sunday after debuting at 10.7 crores. The Monday collection dropped to 5.42 crore, while the Wednesday collection of 7.75 crore indicated a slight uptick. The movie, which was directed by Raaj Shaandilya, is a spiritual prequel to the 2019 movie with Ayushmann playing a contact centre worker who can speak like a woman. He portrays Pooja in Dream Girl 2 while dressing up as a lady to earn money.

Ayushmann said to ANI, in reference to the outstanding opening week performance of his movie, “In the last three months, mid-budget and small-budget films are also running successfully.” In the past, people believed that only expensive films would be seen. Therefore, the timing of the film is ideal because it was released between Jawan and Gadar 2 and still managed to carve out a niche for itself.
He stated in reference to playing Pooja on-screen, “If the story is good and impactful, then not only girl, but you will be ready to become a dinosaur. Actors seek out difficult and demanding tasks. I have competition for this job from Madhuri, Sridevi, and Hema Malini, in addition to performers like Kamal Haasan sir, Govinda sir, and Aamir Khan sir. Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, and Seema Pahwa are all featured in Dream Girl 2 in addition to these actors.
